Parents, students and teachers meet a minimum of once every 20 school days. Additional education meetings are encouraged as a way to ensure the strongest partnership between home and school.
Teachers provide parents with personalized lesson plans and all the necessary curricular resources to ensure student mastery of core subjects. Families may adhere to a home study program where, with support and direction from the Supervising Teacher, parents manage instruction in all subjects at home every day. Or, families can opt for a hybrid program in which the student attends enrichment classes at one of our learning centers one or two days a week in addition to their regular studies at home.
Hybrid Schedule – Learning Center Option
- Our K-6 Learning Centers Enrichment classes are designed in a block schedule. Students attend in a 3 hour time period, either morning or afternoon, and receive instruction in Language Arts and Social Studies on one day and in Math and Science on the second day. We have a Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday format
- Seventh and eighth graders have a Tuesday-Thursday full-day program or a Monday-Wednesday half-day program to choose from.
- High school students, grades 9th-12th, can choose the option to attend classes with direct instruction in four core subjects. We offer a variety of schedules and options to meet their needs throughout the week. Students attending high school learning center classes must maintain adherence to attendance and homework standards.
