Even though students attend instruction at home on the parent’s schedule, our Supervising Teachers are still very important to your success. Since our STs do not spend as much time managing a traditional classroom, they have more time for one-on0one interaction with you! What can you expect from your teachers at AVLA?
- Experience: All teachers are certified in California. Teachers receive ongoing professional development so they stay updated on the latest instructional techniques and tools
- Availability: Teachers respond to student needs through email, phone and in person. They are required to keep structured weekly ‘office hours’ at which time students and parents can interst with them. Students may schedule face-to-face meetings with teachers at a mutual location or a learning center.
- Flexibility: AVLA student rely on their teachers at different levels. You can choose how often you connect with our teacher based on your individual preferences and needs.
- Answers: All of our teachers are experts in the curriculum and delivery system. They answer day-to-day questions, work through conceptual problems with students, and are available to guide you with instructional strategies for teaching the toughest skills.
